  SHUT IT DOWN. The Correctional Officers have no respect what so ever, and they DO. NOT. CARE. about anyone.(excluding officer Nunley) Laws are broken every single day, and the Sheriff gets away with it. He can, and does whatever he wants to do, because the State of TN doesn't properly do their job and inspect and make sure laws and standards are enforced and obeyed. For example, an inmate is required by law to receive at least 1 hour of rec per day. There are times where I went up to 48 hours inside a cell...with NO WINDOWS. In mid 2016 they installed metal plates over all cell windows. Thus, you can not see outside, ever, unless you're going to court. They did this because the people in charge are cheap, greedy, inconsiderate and so decided to install Plexiglas windows 1/2" thick, and the inmates found a way to cut them out to get contraband into the jail. It's overcrowded(3 people in a 2 man cell) because Manchester thrives on arrests. They go looking for trouble anywhere they can find it. "Oh, he has a hat on and tattoos? Let's pull him over and violate his rights!" The justice system here is a complete joke, ask anyone who really knows. More examples of injustice in the Coffee County Jail include people sleeping on the floor, with no mat. People don't have towels, blankets, washcloths. They go without these REQUIRED items for days, until a person is released. And this is UNACCEPTABLE! Something needs to be done. We the people have the power to do something, but no-one will stand up.
